Fabric Awnings
Fabric Awnings (aka retractable awnings and outdoor blinds) are a popular choice for home owners due to their versatility. They can shade windows, patios, pergolas, verandas and alfresco outdoor living areas - protecting the area from sun, glare, wind and rain. Most awnings also allow air to flow through to the area you are protecting from the elements.
You have the ability to lower and raise the awnings as you need them. All awnings are manual, however there are some that offer the option of motorisation. All fabric awnings come in a variety colours and fabrics to suit your lifestyle. You can view colours and styles for the Outlook, Barrington and Docril range of fabrics. We have sourced the best quality materials for you - so that they are long lasting. All you need to do is clean them every now and then.
Auto Lock Awnings
Auto Lock Awnings are one of Macarthur Home Improvements most popular outdoor systems. The Auto Awnings have a spring control and allows the blind to be raised and lowered to any position by sliding the arms on the guide rods.
The Auto Lock Awning allows is easy to control for allow privacy and to block direct sunlight entering through a window, reducing the amount of heat from entering a room.
The canvas used is extremely durable, Australian made, resistant to tearing, water and stain repellant, colour fade resistant and easy to clean and maintain.
You have a choice in design from solid colour to stripes.
Bistro Awnings
Bistro Awnings are made of durable PVC and are popular with commercial businesses. Bistro Awnings are clear in colour and allow a view to be unobstructed whilst protecting the protected area from the weather, like wind and rain.
The Bistro Awnings feature zip sides and can be rolled up or down, whenever you need to use them.
Channel Awnings
Channel Awnings are spring loaded and lock into channels at the side, and are designed to be a cost effective way of enclosing your patio or verandah areas, or over windows where flush mounting is required.
Channel Awnings offer privacy, insulation, light control and wind protection.
Folding Arm Awnings
Folding Arm Awnings are generally bulstered to a wall and extend out and over an area to provide protection from the sun. They are popular with commercial premises, such as restaurants, and are also used to provide cover over patios, decks, balconies and pools.
Folding Arm Awnings have arms that fold horizontally instead of vertically, like other types of awnings. The Folding Arm Awning is cantilevered out from the wall so you are able to walk around underneath the awning without walking into any protruding arms and there are no intrusive posts.

The Wire Guide Awning is a tubular roll up awning and is operated with either an electric motor and remote or a manual crank control gear box. The awning's skin runs vertically and is guided by Grade 316 Stainless Steel wires.
The uniquely designed guides at the end of the base bar allow the awning to run smoothly without wear and tear, protecting the awning fabric.
