Our FAQs are based on questions that we, at Macarthur Home Improvements, are asked about in relation to blinds, security doors, shutters, awnings and screens.
What are your business hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and also on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm. You can visit our showroom anytime during these hours, you do not need to make an appointment.
Where are you located?
We are located at Unit 1, 7 Hollylea Rd, Leumeah.
Is there parking available at your showroom?
Yes, there is ample free parking in the complex area outside our showroom.
What services do you offer?
We specialise in custom made vertical blinds, roller blinds, aluminium venetians, timber venetians, panel blinds, fabric awnings, fixed awnings, security doors/grilles, screens, roller shutters and security shutters.
What does custom made mean?
Custom made means that each product is made specifically to order. We measure and then make the blind, awning or door, according to the measurements, in our factory. Our aim is to ensure that you have the best quality products that are locally made and tailored to your needs.
How do I stop a room from getting so hot through summer?
Any type of blind will give some protection against the hot summer sun. However, stopping the sun hitting the glass will give the best results. Awnings or roller shutters would be the ideal product to counteract this.
What colours are available with the security doors?
We understand that having the right colour security door is important to you. We have 15 standard colours and 50 special colours available for you to choose front, not to mention a variety of patterns. Do you do obligation free quotes on site?
Yes, it is the best way for us to properly quote you and ensure the measurements are correct. To arrange, contact us today!
Do you quote off house plans?
If you are in the process of building and have your house plans, you can email them to us and we can provide you with a quote.
However, it is recommended that when the house is near completion, i.e. frames, architrave and flooring is in, that we have permission to attend site and re-check measurements.
How and when do I make a payment?
Once the order is placed, we require you to pay a 50% deposit with the balance payable on completion. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and electronic funds transfer.
