Today I’d like to introduce you to Jessica Patrick. Jessica has been with Macarthur Home Improvements since April 2013. Jessica is our Office Manager and you will often meet her when you visit our Showroom based in South West Sydney. I asked Jessica to share what her most memorable moment of working at Macarthur Home Improvements. She said for her it was Melbourne Cup Day 2013. It was on this day she created friendships with work colleagues that led to many of them attending her wedding last week to her partner of 5 years.

Today Jessica is sharing her Top 3 Tips for selecting awnings.

1. What the awning is going to be used for?

There are fixed and fabric awnings. Both are great, however have distinctly different benefits. The more clear you are on the main purpose it is required for, the easier we are able to help you select which is best for you.

2. Is it to enclose an area?

Determine if it is to enclose an area. This will also help narrow down your options and determine which awning will suit your requirements.

3. Would you like it motorised or crank operated?

Consider if you would like to have your awning controlled by the touch of a button or manually (crank) operated. In our showroom we have both options on display so this can help you decide.
